What you need?

• BlackBox and power supply
• M12 sensor cable
• Inductive proximity sensor (detecting metal)
• Basic tools for installing sensor
• Sensor and sensor cable

How to make installation?

• Find suitable place for sensor to count meters from rolling gear or shaft. The sensor must get one or more readings per turn
• Connect the sensor and BlackBox with cable
• On the sensor there is a orange led that turns on when detecting metal
• Max detecting distance (Stable sensing range) 4mm

• After connecting the sensor and BlackBox contact GlobalReader support to verify the readings

Calibrating sensor readings

Without calibration the system will simply display the number of impulses read from the sensor.

For the meter's measurement, the coefficient (Offset, Data Modifier) "how many impulses equal 1m" needs to be entered in GR system. The Offset can be configured in the menu Settings → Devices → Sensors → Offset
