What you need?

• BlackBox and power supply
• GR wheel
• M12 sensor cable
• inductive sensor (1040763)
• Basic tools for insatalling the wheel
• Sensor, sensor cable and wheel is provided by GlobalReader

How to make installation?

• Find suitable place for wheel to count meters
• Install the wheel so that the roller is able to move up when it hit's the material and so that the material is always spinning the wheel
• On the sensor there is a orange led that turn on when detecting metal on the wheel
• Connect the sensor on wheel and BlackBox with cable

• After connecting sensor and BlackBox contact GlobalReader support to verify the readings

Testing wheel sensor

• Orange LED on sensor is blinking when wheel is turning
• LED on the sensor is ON when facig wheel tooth, OFF when not facing tooth.

The yellow LED goes on when object is in the range of sensor and the switching output changes. The yellow LED is off when no object in range.

Calibrating the wheel

The tightness of the spinning can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the bolt. Adjust the tightness so that the wheel will stop along with the material and will not keep spinning without the material on or above it

Troubleshooting sensor:

Orange LED not turning on when wheel is turning

• Verify that Sensor cable is connected to sensor
• Verify that Sensor cable is connected to Blackbox
• Verify that BlackBox has power
• Test with metal (e.g keys) in close range of the sensor blue tip
• Adjust the sensor position farther or closer to metal
