The device profile is a page where you can edit all the workstation details and also get an overview of what additional settings have been added for the device. The device profile can be opened if you click on the Device name.

Details that can be edited for the device are divided into Device details and Sensor margins

Device details that can be edited

• Name - the name you have given to your workstation
• OEE sensor selection - if you are monitoring several different work aspects (worktime, pieces, cycles) then you can choose which of them is the base for your workstation OEE. Only one sensor can be the main sensor and Performance, Availability, and Quality are calculated by this sensor. In the Smart Factory package custom, OEE sensor solutions are available.
• Effective OEE % - is the percentage where the Dashboard gauge turns green. This is the value over what workstation work is considered effective.
• Minimum interruption time (minutes) - count of minutes when an interruption is still part of the normal process. Referred as Loading time in GlobalReader system. In availability, these minutes are calculated as active minutes. If this value is exceeded then it is displayed as "Undefined Interruption" and a reason can be inserted.

Sensor margins that can be edited

• Minimum production - a set value for machines maximum speed/production for one minute. When exceeding this value GlobalReader system sees the period as an active period and counts the product amount. Default is zero, only to be used with fast productions.
• Maximum production - Maximum speed of the machine in one minute. If product Maxium production is used then it is primary for the time product is produced, every other period machine Maximum production is used for OEE calculation.
• Apply changes from - new settings can be activated on historical data.

Important! If production information is entered and the product has its own set maximum/minimum production level, then the product level is considered for OEE calculation and every other period machine Maximum/Minimum production is used for OEE calculation.
