GlobalReader allows you to edit the recurring shift templates or specific individual shifts efficiently to react to the production needs or changes.

What details can be changed for the recurring shift?

Absolutely all details can be changed and edited for the recurring shift, including:

• Name
• Start and end times
• Devices - remove devices from this shift or add devices to this shift
• Shift type - update the type from Normal to Dynamical or vice-versa

Good to know! Changes applied to the recurring shift will take effect from the current day onward and will not change shifts that have already taken place.

How to edit recurring shifts?

Look up the recurring shift you would like to edit from the Shifts list under Device Advanced Setup and click on the name. Once you have clicked on the shift name an edit dialog is opened and with the following few simple steps you will be able to edit details needed:

1. Click on the Shift name
2. Edit dialog is opened
3. Change the details needed - name, occurrence, times, devices, shift type
4. Click on 'Save'

Good to know! The system will always double-check entered data and will not allow adding overlapping shifts.
