1. Download GlobalReader Operator app from Android Play Store

1. Open the app

2. Choose PIN login

1. Enter GR administrator e-mail and password and click Trust this device

1. After that it is ready for operator to log in with PIN code (How to set up a PIN login? )

Note: To keep screen on go to Settings - About tablet - Software information - click 5-7 times on Build number - it will show you Developer mode on and the left side you will see Developer Options - open it and choose Stay Awake. Use physical button on the device to turn screen off when needed.

Optional: Turn ON Restricted mode

Restricted mode is an optional setting that controls the content that the user can see and restricts the user to exit the app without knowing the preset password (PIN code). It also always boots the device straight to GR app and helps the user to keep focused only on GR Operator view app.

Enable Restricted mode

Press top right corner a window:

Set PIN code for this option, Confirm PIN, press Enter:

New window asks to choose GlobalReader Operator as a default home app, press Set as default:

How to disable Restricted mode

Press three dots at a top of right corner:

Select “Disable restricted mode”:

Type previously created PIN code, press Enter:

Finally set The Android Default Home Screen (example for Samsung: One UI Home) view as a default to have access to desktop view.

Move back to Operator (Shopfloor Feedback).
