When WiFi SSID and password change have already been made and GlobalReader Black Box device is offline due to not recognizing the new network, then in order to update the WiFi network details please follow the steps:

1.Create a mobile hotspot with SSID name 'guest' and password 'kylaline' OR SSID name 'globalreader.eu' and password 'SmartFactory'. Please see how to set up a mobile hotspot with mobile phone iOS from the below page:

How to create mobile hotspot

  1. When the hotspot is created, then GlobalReader Black Box will come back to online - LED light will turn to blue and green online status will be displayed beside the device name in Passport

  2. Next, open device profile - (Device page in Passport)

  3. Click on the device name for which you want to update the WiFi network details

  1. On the device profile page navigate to 'Edit WiFi' button and click on it

  1. Fill in the needed details with the new WiFi SSID name along with the new password and click on 'Save'

  1. Turn off mobile hotspot

  2. Check if GlobalReader Black Box connects back to the network. LED light that temporarily blinked green (searching for network) turns back to blue (the device is connected to a new WiFi network)
