GlobalReader TV links allow you to have a real-time graphical overview of your production process and you can choose which report you would like to cast on your screen with your defined preferences.

Below you will find guidance on how to manage your companies TV links.

Add a new TV link

Adding or creating a TV link based on your preferences is simple. Please follow the steps:

  1. Click on 'Add New'

  1. In the new window add Name to your link, choose a report you want to cast:

  1. Open Advanced settings to add additional information and after that Click on 'Save' - you have added a new TV link

Edit current TV link

Already existing TV links can be edited at any time by clicking on the name of the view. You may want to edit the TV link configuration, for example how many devices per screen and what report is shown.

To edit a TV link please follow the steps:

  1. Look up the TV link you want to edit and click on the name of the TV view

  1. Change the details needed in the next window - all the details are editable
  2. Click on 'Save' to make the updates happen

Good to know! If this TV link was used in connection with the GlobalReader Smart LiveView app, then the updates will appear with a slight time delay.

SmartLive View app for Android screen

Adding a new Android screen is easy - you can start by downloading the Smart LiveView app and then click on the 'Connect new Android TV' to enter the code seen from the app.

Once you have set up your Smart LiveView app, then you will be able to change what TV link is shown on the screen. For that, please follow the steps:

  1. Navigate to the Connected TV´s
  2. Click on 'Edit'
  3. Change the TV link or the connected TV name
  4. Click on 'Save'
