Unbox the Mi Box S device

• Unbox your Xiaomi Mi device. Box includes - Mi Box S, Voice Remote control, Power Adapter, and HDMI cable
• Plug in your Mi Box S using the power adapter
• Connect Mi Box S to your Android TV using HDMI cable
• Insert AAA batteries to your Mi Box S remote control
• Make sure that WiFi network is available

Setting up Mi Box S

• Mi Box S turns ON as soon as you plug the power adapter and a light turns ON
• Turn ON your TV and change the picture source to HDMI input - first time setup instructions will be shown on the screen
• Start the setup process by pressing the select button
• Pair your remote with your Mi Box S - hold the remote near the box (20 cm) - press and hold the buttons (Menu and O) as instructed on the screen until you hear a peep

• Use the navigation screen to select the language, click on the center button to confirm

• You can connect the Mi Box with your Android device or skip the step for now. If you connect your devices, then instructions steps on the screen will guide you through how to do it - follow the steps

Good to know! Google account is needed to download apps and you can log in to your account later as well

• Connect to a WiFi network. If you decided to connect your devices, then a WiFi connection was established during that setup and if you skipped the step, then connect to WiFi using the remote control. Select the correct Network and add a password
• If you Skipped pairing your devices, then now please sign in to Google account - you will be offered to pair the devices again and also an option to sign in with the remote
• Accept Google terms, choose the setting for Location, decide whether you want to share feedback to improve Android performance, choose a name for your Mi Box, browse through initial tips and preferences
