GlobalReader allows creating system users who have different access levels based on the role they have within the company. On the Passport Users page, you can add Admin users, Trusted users, Operator users, Globalreader translators and Technicians.

- Admin user - users with Admin roles have access by default to all the GlobalReader eco system environments with the option to view reports, change and edit any settings needed and enter production information.
- Trusted user - users with the Trusted role have default access to all GlobalReader ecosystem environments for all devices. They can view reports and enter production information but cannot change any company settings or switch between companies.
- Operator - users with the Operator role can access the device Operators’ view and the Maintenance app through the efficiency card. They cannot modify any Passport company settings, but they are able to enter production information.
- Globalreader translator - Translators have a special view where they can edit translation content, but they have no access anywhere else.
- Technician - The Technician role is tied to the Maintenance feature. When the Maintenance feature is enabled, the Technician role is active; when it is disabled, the Technician role is inactive. Access for Technicians is therefore granted or restricted based on the Maintenance feature status.
